When it comes to love we never know what the hell we are doing. We never know what to say, how to act, we are always regreting things we said or did by saying something like: "I should have said this instead, i am sure it would have caused a much better impression" or a "At that point I wasn't thinking right and I was sooo nervous, if the situation comes up again I am sure I'll do just fine!" We also ask for things that we are not willing to give up or sacrifice in the name of love. We want someone who will understand our feelings at any given moment of the day, yet we get tired when it's time to show the same compasion for others. Sometimes I wonder if there is a manual on how to love everyone the right way without getting hurt or hurting anyone in the process.... I agree with your point.
