You know that Scripture in Proverbs that says (1:20), “Wisdom calls aloud in the streets?” I heard it scream at me twice this week. The first time it said, “He who makes fun of his friends will no longer have any.” … Well, by the end of this blog, you’ll know I ignored that voice. The second time it shrieked at me it said, “You’re a fool, but at-least write a disclaimer.”
So, here’s my disclaimer: I hope you can take a joke.
That is all.
I know, and you’re right; Facebook has changed. The old Facebook ate some bad sushi, took a dump on the screen and nobody wanted to clean it up. One overpaid IT guy said to another, “Hey, you know that sushi dump FB took last week? Let’s call it the new Facebook and share it with the world.” There we have it, the true story of how the new Facebook came to be. I may or may not write these future Facebook blogs in the new format. What do you guys think?
Anyway, let’s get to this weeks’ episode.
Welcome to my new feature, “Life, as told by Facebook.” Periodically, I will tell a story (most likely a fictitious one) using only Facebook updates. This week’s episode…
Season 1, Episode 1: A Pizza Dream
Somewhere between the time I checked my Facebook and the time I checked my Facebook again, all of these things really happened. And by really happened, I mean really happened inside some obscure part of my very random brain. Hopefully, it will be good for a laugh or two… or thirty.
