About

The Evolution of J-Ri

I don’t like writing Bio’s, mainly because I’m so humble that it’s hard for me to be self invested. Nobody walks in humility like I do. I don’t enjoy making people feel bad about themselves. It’s not their fault they weren’t born awesome, so I try to tone it down for the general public. As a celebrity writer for the largest Blog in the world, my life is filled with challenges. I have multiple bank accounts and investment portfolios. That’s tough to keep track of.

In real life, I play the role of Jason Riley, a 28-year old in Los Angeles, CA. I’m a loving husband and proud father of two absolutely wonderful children, only that’s not true. I copied that line from every bio I’ve ever read. I just realized that it didn’t apply. I’d start over, but I can’t figure out where to put the paper in this monitor. Kids and their darn technology.

As you can see in my picture, I’m very Asian. That’s why I live in Arcadia. I speak two languages, English.

Jokes aside, I love to write. I try to mix it up and not just write about any one topic. I like to write funny and entertaining blogs, depending on how much caffeine I’ve had that day. If you find my posts boring, chances are I was recently humiliated on a basketball court, or Rush Limbaugh hacked my account and started typing.

I love Jesus, and He’s interlaced in everything I do. Actually, I’m interlaced in what He’s doing. That makes a lot more sense. My faith is the most important element of my life. I’m sure that will spill out in my writing most of the time. Here are a few other random facts about me:

I really love working with teens. I’d hang out with them everyday if I could. I try hard to stay in good shape, and I love to play basketball. I destroyed my knee my first season in College, but I still sometimes fantasize about suiting up in the NBA. Speaking of the NBA, it’s very possible that I’m the biggest Lakers fan on earth. I’m pretty laid back, so naturally, I greatly dislike drama and every complication it brings. Five years ago, my first book was published. I’m in the process of working on the second one now. I love my family with all of my heart and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for them. Braveheart is the greatest movie of all-time, the O.C. is the greatest TV show of all-time and Brian McKnight is the greatest musical artist of all-time.

My editor just told me to shut-up. I should listen. Or I could fire her…

Hmmm.
